Private respondent Kewal is present along with his statement which is taken on record. He denies the allegations levelled against the private respondents. He, however, undertakes that the private respondents shall not harass the petitioner in any manner whatsoever.

Comments have been filed on behalf of official respondents 2, 3, 4 and 6 which are taken on record. The above police officials as well as learned State Counsel undertake that the official respondents shall provide protection to the petitioner against private respondents and shall ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioner by any of them.

By consent, the petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
