Comments have been filed by respondents 4, 5 and 6, which are taken on record.

Counsel for the petitioner states that present petitioner has also filed C.P. No.D-1510 / 2017 before this Court against present respondent No.8 and others challenging an order whereby he has been transferred from his post and a clerk has been appointed in his place.

In the present petition, the petitioner has alleged that respondent No.8 is harassing him by extending serious threats to him, but official respondents 2 to 7 have failed to take any action against him or to provide protection to the petitioner. Counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner will avail his remedy in accordance with law by filing proper application in this behalf in his aforesaid C.P. No.D-1510 / 2017.

In view of the statement, the petition and listed application stand disposed of.
