Comments have been filed by respondent No.8 / SHO PS Islamkot, which are taken on record.

It is stated that petitioners and private respondents are co-owners of the subject survey numbers having joint possession thereof. The grievance of the petitioners is that private respondents are trying to dispossess the petitioners therefrom. Counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners have filed complaint before the Deputy Commissioner under section 135 of the Land Revenue Act, 1967, and they also intend to file a civil suit against private respondents before the competent court for declaration and injunction. He requests that since private respondents are harassing the petitioners in order to pressurize them, police may be directed to provide protection to the petitioners.

SIP Akbar Khan, SHO PS Islamkot is present. He undertakes to provide protection to the petitioners against private respondents. He as well as respondent No.9 / SSP Tharparkar at Mithi are directed to ensure that private respondents do not cause any harm to any of the petitioners.

By consent of the petitioners, the petition stands disposed of in above terms.
