          Through the constitutional petition, the petitioner Shrimati Shugna has prayed for the following relief:-

“a)      That this Honourable Court may be pleased to direct the respondents No.2 & 3 not to cause any harassment to the petitioner and her parents at the behest of respondent No.4 in any manner whatsoever;

b)       To direct the respondent No.2 & 3 to provide legal protection to the petitioner and her family members and ensure that no harm is caused to them;

c)       Any other relief which this Honourable Court deems fit and proper;”

 

          Notices were issued to the respondents as well as A.A.G. Comments are filed on behalf of respondents No.2 and 3, which are taken on record, copies thereof provided to learned counsel for the petitioner.

          In the comments, it is mentioned by SSP Hyderabad, the respondent No.2, that no harassment has been caused to the petitioner. Petitioner shall be provided protection/assistance from the Hyderabad police. Further it is stated that there is dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents over matrimonial affairs. SHO Hatri in his comments, has stated that never petitioner has approached him for protection.

          Learned Assistant A.G. Sindh states that protection as provided in the law shall be provided to the petitioner if and when she approaches the concerned police.

          Learned counsel for the petitioner expresses satisfaction over the statement made by the learned A.A.G. and comments/statements filed by respondents No.2 and 3 and does not press the instant petition more.

          Accordingly, the petition is disposed of in the above terms. Copy of this order be sent to SSP Hyderabad for compliance.
