MUHAMMAD ALI MAZHAR, J: On last date we issued notice to the Deputy Accountant General, Sindh (Pensions). Today he is present. The learned counsel for the petitioner produced the copy of letter dated 04.08.2016 issued by Section Officer CI (H), Health Department, Government of Sindh to the Accountant General Sindh, Karachi in relation to the pension/commutation case of late Dr. Munawaruddin Larik, Ex-Medical Officer (BS-17), BHU Saeed Mattoo, District Hyderabad. Through this letter some documents have been forwarded to the Advocate General Sindh for finalizing the pension case of deceased husband of the petitioner. The record shows that the husband of the petitioner expired on 14.07.2000 and since then she is continuously pursuing case of pension and even in the year 2016 no progress has been made except showing a letter dated 04.08.2016.            Time and again, the hon’ble Supreme Court has passed the order for the immediate resolution of pension issues and disputes           but  in  this  case  without  showing  any justification for such an

inordinate delay, the matter is pending. The Deputy Accountant General (Pensions) undertakes to clear all the pensionery benefits and other dues within fifteen days. This undertaking is taken on record. In case the Deputy Accountant General fails to fulfil his undertaking, contempt proceedings shall be initiated against him and the Accountant General Sindh. Petition is disposed of.              The compliance report shall be submitted to this court through MIT-II of this court.
