Muhammad Ali Mazhar, J: The Accounts Officer, District Central and the Chief Municipal Commissioner submit that the salary for the months of August, 2016 to October, 2016 have already been paid to the petitioner which fact has been confirmed by the petitioner who is present with her counsel. The petitioner’s counsel further argued that the arrears of salary for the month of February, 2016 to July, 2016 are still unpaid. The Accounts Officer requests that the payment of six months’ arrears may be linked with payment of monthly salary which means that six months’ arrears of salary will be paid in six monthly instalments alongwith monthly salary regularly. Since the officers present request for reasonable time due to some financial crunch and problems, therefore, this request has been accepted by the petitioner and her counsel provided that no further delay or breach of this promise is committed by the respondents. In view of the above, the petition is disposed of accordingly.
