Muhammad Ali Mazhar, J: The learned counsel for the petitioner argued that vide appointment order dated 23.02.2012 the petitioner was appointed as Junior Clerk in the Directorate of School Education, Karachi Region, Karachi. He is regularly performing his duties but since August, 2015 his salary has been stopped. He has also attached his last salary slip of July, 2015 at page 43 of court file. The petitioner has also attached the Certificate of Government Girls Secondary School, P.A.F. Base Masroor, Karachi issued by the Institution to satisfy that petitioner is discharging his duties but his salary has been stopped from August, 2015. The letter dated 06.05.2016 written by District Education Officer, Elementary, Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, District West, Karachi is also attached at page 57 for release of the salary. Despite the reasonable opportunity, no comments have been filed by the respondents, however, the learned A.A.G. submits that this petition can be disposed of with some directions to the respondents to check the record and if the salary of the petitioner is found unpaid  and  he

is discharging his duties, the same may be paid to him. The proposal given by the learned A.A.G. is quite reasonable and agreed by the learned counsel for the petitioner, therefore, the Director School Education, Karachi Region, Karachi is directed to immediately look into the matter and if the petitioner’s salary is found unpaid, he will take all reasonable steps to ensure the payment of unpaid salary of the petitioner within twenty (20) days’ time. The petition is disposed of accordingly.
