The petitioner has basically challenged the impugned order dated 30-06-2016 for placing him in the Reserve Pool. He has also sought directions of this Court to allow him to perform his duties. Mr. Jamil-Ur-Rehman Acting General Manager (H.R) OGDCL is present and submits that other Officers of Oil and Gas Development Company Limited has filed Writ Petition No. 2716 of 2016 in the learned Peshawar High Court in which they have also challenged the same notification of the Reserve Pool and vide interim order passed by the learned Division Bench of Peshawar High Court, the impugned notification of Reserve Pool dated 30-06-2016 was suspended thereafter the Managing Director of OGDCL issued a circular across the board, that all said officers who were placed under the Reserve Pool may join their duties.

2. In consequence thereof the petitioner has already joined his duties as Deputy Chief Engineer in Head Office at Islamabad. This fact has been confirmed by the wife of petitioner Mrs.Rubab Naqvi who came and informed this Court that her husband has already joined the duties and he is no more in the Reserve Pool.

3. Since the matter is already pending in the Peshawar High Court and the Petitioner has already been given joining therefore, learned counsel for the petitioner is satisfied and requests that this petition may be disposed of. Order accordingly.
