MUHAMMAD ALI MAZHAR, J:- These petitions were filed on the ground that Appeals filed by the respondent/Karachi Shereton Hotel were time barred but this objection was not decided. During pendency of these petitions, learned Sindh Labour Appellate Tribunal vide order dated 28.10.2014 disposed of the objection and found the Appeals within time. These matters are lingering on for last considerable period. The grievance applications were filed in the year 2003 in the Sindh Labour Court and despite passing orders by the Labour Court in favour of the petitioners they have got nothing but the protracted litigation. Since the main Appeals are fixed for hearing on 15th November, 2016, we expect that both the parties will appear before the learned Sindh Labour Appellate Tribunal without seeking adjournment and will argue the cases. At the same time we also expect that the learned Tribunal will decide old pending Appeals within a period of one month.
By consent, both petitions are disposed of accordingly.
