Muhammad Ali Mazhar, J: The petitioner has approached this court for directions against the respondents to release his salary. Vide appointment order dated 20.01.2014, the petitioner was appointed on Shaheed Quota and he has also submitted Joining Report, besides that no salary has been paid to him since 2014. When we asked whether any appeal/representation was filed, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has no knowledge about filing of any such appeal/representation.

Since the petitioner is a civil servant and jurisdiction of this court is barred under Article 212 of Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973 and proper remedy is available to the petitioner to approach the Service Tribunal if his grievance is not redressed, therefore the learned counsel for the petitioner agrees to file appeal/representation to concerned department but he requests that some directions may be issued to expedite appeal/representative on which Mr.Abdul Jalil Zubedi, learned AAG, submits that after filing of appeal/representation, competent authority will decide the same within a period of one month on which learned counsel for the petitioner is satisfied.
