----------

Muhammad Ali Mazhar,J: The case of the petitioners is that they are performing their duties  on contract basis in the Women Development Department, Government of Sindh but despite lapse of considerable time  they have not been considered for the regularization of their services, therefore, this petition has been filed for their regularization under the provisions of Sindh (Regularization of Adhoc and Contract Employees), Act, 2013. Notice of this petition was issued to the respondents on 20.5.2016 and since then the matter was adjourned for two dates with the opportunity to file comments by the respondents, but no comments have been filed. Today again the learned AAG requests for time to file comments.

The Learned counsel for the petitioner pointed out page-139 (Annexure-F/4), which is a Summary moved to Chief Minister Sindh for regularization of some employees.  The relevant paragraph 8 of the summary is reproduced as under:-

“8.     The Scrutiny Committee No.3 has recommended for regularization of the services of two employees namely, (1) Ms.Naseem Hassan Mastoi, Manager (BS-18), SBBCW Benazirabad, and (2) Ms.Khalida Parveen, Manager (BS-18), SBBCW Jacobabad, subject to provision of original verified degree certificates. Women Development Department has confirmed submission of original verified degree certificates, as per recommendation of the Scrutiny Committee No.3. Thus, the services of a total of eight employees recommended by the Scrutiny Committee No.3, may be regularized.”

Since the case of both the petitioners has already been scrutinized by the committee therefore, their cases have been recommended for regularization.

In view of the clear recommendation reflecting from the summary this petition is disposed of with directions to the respondents to expedite the process in accordance with law within three months, so that the order on summary may be passed as recommended by the scrutiny committee. The listed application is also disposed of.

Office is directed to transmit copy of this order to learned AAG for compliance.
