            On 10.6.2016 the raid Commissioner was appointed, who has submitted a report that during search of the lockup of Police Station Kazi Ahmed, District Shaheed Benazirabad, the detenues namely Jawaid Iqbal and Zahid Iqbal were found available in front of Police Lokcup within the premises of Police Station Kazi Ahmed. On enquiry, the duty officer stated that they have been called for enquiry in connection with the complaint of one Mst. Ghafooran but no mashirnama of their arrest, F.I.R or any entry in the police Roznamcha was found.

The S.H.O is present and he has filed comments alongwith some documents to legalize the presence of the alleged detenues in Police Station, which seems to be fabricated. Since, the alleged detenues have already been released, therefore, this petition is disposed of with the directions to the Respondent No.1 to depute responsible D.S.P for conducting enquiry in this case, and if it is found that the alleged detenues were detained in the Police Station without lawful authority, serious action shall be taken against all responsible persons including S.H.O concerned. However, this order will not prevent the Police Department to act strictly in accordance with law.
