                    The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that the goods of the petitioner were confiscated on account of charges of smuggling/non-duty paid, whereupon a show-cause notice was issued to him on 05.10.2015. Per counsel on  80% of the consignment duty was paid and for the rest 20% the plea of the importer was that the same was purchased from Peshawar Directorate in an auction proceeding. The respondent counsel has verified the fact and has come to the conclusion that major portion of the items were purchased by the petitioner in an auction from Peshawar Directorate. The counsel for the respondent as well as S.I.O. present states that the portion of the consignment, which has been verified that the same has been purchased in the auction proceedings from the Peshawar Directorate, would be released within two days.
